Intel GRanulate | 2024 | cloud | brand guidelines
background
Do brand guidelines have to be long and boring PDFs?
During one of my design inspiration searches, I came across
an interactive brand book. It featured a sticky menu on the left, allowing users to click on the relevant page and immediately access specific content instead of scrolling through irrelevant pages.
I loved the idea and decided to embrace it!
The Challenge
Intel acquired Granulate about six years ago, leading to the integration of some of Intel’s brand elements into Granulate’s identity. This involved updating the colors, logo,
and messaging to align with Intel’s look and feel.
As a designer, my challenge was to merge Intel’s more conservative brand identity with Granulate’s bold and eye-catching personality.
Actions
• Performing design research: exploring how other companies have built their latest brand guidelines to gather ideas.

• Learning Intel's brand guidelines and implementing them within our brand.

• Meeting relevant stakeholders from Intel to gather feedback and
update the designs with the necessary changes.

• Sharing the guidelines with the team.

•• Working with the development team to hand off the materials
for implementation.
• Adding the brand book to the company website.

Results
• High accessibility- the fact that the guidlines were accessible to everyone online  combined with a friendly and interactive interface, received a lot of positive feedback from users.
• A time and work saverSince the guidelines were available online, there was no need to resend updated PDFs for every change or update. Instead, we simply updated them online, saving a significant amount of time and effort.
